A.A.C. ISACOUSTICALLY ABSORBENT
AAC provides excelent sound absorption
with an STC (sound transmission class) rating of 44. It is used for sound barriers along
many miles of America’s highways.
The Vinings Fairfield Inn in Atlanta, GA was the first AAC hotel built in the United States. It was built to provide additional room for
the 1996 Olympics. The AAC walls were so sound absorbent that fire alarm enunciators had to be installed in every room.
A.A.C. IS FIRE RESISTANT
The main raw materials are mostly inorganic materials, so they have good fire resistance and do not emit harmful gases in
case of fire. Refractory 650°c, they are first-class refractory, fire resistance up to 245 minutes for 90mm thick wall and 520
minutes for 300mm thick wall.
Most
residential
fires
do
not
exceed
1200°.
AAC
does
not
begin
to
breakdown
until
well
over
3000°.
Unlike
conventional
concrete,
AAC
is
very
resistant
to
thermal
changes.
This
enables
AAC
to
withstand
the
thermal
shock
of
cold
water
from
a
fireman’s hose hitting it while heated up from a fire. This allows AAC to maintain its structural integrity even after a fire.

A.A.C. ANTI THERMITE
AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) is inorganic and contains no cellulose, making it unattractive and indigestible to termites.
This natural resistance eliminates the need for chemical termite treatments, enhancing building durability and safety.
A.A.C. TOTALLY WATERPROOF
AAC waterproofing volves applying protective coatings or membranes to autoclaved aerated concrete to prevent water infiltration.
This treatment preserves the material’s insulation properties and structural integrity by blocking moisture absorption.
